Gurgaon: DLF awards ₹325 crore Cyber City flyover contract

Construction on the Sirhaul Border–Cyber City link will begin after police and local authorities approve a traffic plan, with completion projected in 18 months.

DLF has awarded a ₹325-crore contract for a Cyber City flyover and four underpasses near Moulsari Avenue and Shankar Chowk in Gurgaon.

DLF has awarded a ₹325-crore construction contract for a flyover linking the Ambience Mall end of the Delhi-Gurgaon Expressway with Cyber City, along with four underpasses around Moulsari Avenue and Shankar Chowk.

The flyover will run from near the existing U-turn underpass at Ambience Mall towards Cyber City on the Delhi-to-Jaipur side of the expressway. Built above the service road and parallel to the existing highway flyover, it is intended to allow motorists to bypass the Moulsari Avenue and Shankar Chowk conflict points. Vehicles using the Ambience Mall U-turn underpass will also be able to use the flyover towards Cyber City and Iffco Chowk.

One underpass will take traffic from Moulsari Avenue beneath the expressway to the Delhi-bound carriageway. Three more are planned to connect DLF developments with Moulsari Avenue.

Work can begin once traffic police and local authorities clear a detailed traffic-management plan, which is expected within a month. NHAI requires an approved plan before each stage of construction. DLF expects the project to take 18 months.
