Greater Noida trade show shares course and career information

The five-day Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show ended Tuesday in Greater Noida, where stalls shared course and career information.

More than 160 universities, banks and insurers joined the Greater Noida trade show, sharing information on courses, internships, skills and jobs.

For Uttara Saxena, who travelled from New Delhi, the Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show in Greater Noida offered information on a course linked to her interest in sports journalism. At the Major Dhyan Chand Sports University, Meerut pavilion, she learnt about a related programme at the university.

The five-day event, which concluded on Tuesday, brought together more than 160 private and government universities, public-sector and private banks, and insurance companies. Alongside product and investment displays, participating organisations shared information on courses, internships, skill-development programmes and employment prospects.

Punjab National Bank, Bank of India and State Bank of India spoke to visitors about careers and skills in banking, while insurance firms outlined employment options in their sector. Medical institutions including Rajshree Medical Research Institute, King George’s Medical University and Integral University presented academic programmes and healthcare-sector opportunities.

Pharmaceutical companies also discussed work in research, manufacturing and related fields. Visitors could collect course and internship information from participating stalls before making applications.
