Race Course Road will face traffic restrictions for 60 days from October 5 as the Greater Bengaluru Authority begins white-topping work between Maurya Junction and Hare Krishna Road Junction.
Vehicles will not be allowed to travel towards Maurya Junction from Shivananda Junction or from Trilight Junction on Race Course Road.
BMTC and private buses, as well as heavy goods vehicles travelling to KR Market via Sankey Road, should travel from Windsor Manor to LRDE Junction, turn right and continue via Basaveshwara Junction.
Motorists travelling to Majestic from Sankey Road should take Kumara Krupa Road to Shivananda Circle, turn right and continue on SC Road.
Traffic from Old JDS Junction towards Trilight Junction can take the left road at Old JDS Junction, turn left at Raceview Junction and proceed via Kumara Krupa Road towards Shivananda Junction. Motorists travelling from Trilight Junction towards Maurya Junction should use the Shivananda Flyover, reach SC Road through Nehru Circle and continue towards Majestic.
Traffic police have asked motorists to use the notified diversion routes during the works.
