Tamana Autism Centre – School of Hope in Vasant Vihar has been ranked first by Cfore Rankings 2026 in its Indian-curriculum special-needs school category.
Founded nearly 41 years ago by Dr Shayama Chona, the Delhi school runs programmes for students with autism spectrum disorder. Its work combines special education, therapeutic interventions, communication development and life-skills training tailored to individual students’ needs.
Tamana Chona, a board member at the school, said the recognition had brought joy to students and staff.
“It motivates us to continue working towards providing better education and opportunities for children with special needs,” she said.
Chona said the recognition could also help parents learn about institutions and better understand their children’s needs. “Every child deserves the same opportunity to live, grow and be happy,” she added.
