Noida student Aarohee Sharma won the girls’ singles and doubles titles at the Asian Tennis Federation Under-12 tournament in Gurugram.

Noida’s Aarohee Sharma won the singles final in three sets and the doubles title with Swastik at Gurugram’s ATF Under-12 event.

Aarohee Sharma, a Class VII student at Lotus Valley International School in Sector 126, Noida, won the girls’ singles and doubles titles at the Asian Tennis Federation Under-12 tournament in Gurugram.

In the singles final at The Tennis Project, Sharma lost the opening set 1-6 to her doubles partner, Swastik. She won the second set 6-1 and the deciding set 6-4.

A day earlier, Sharma and Swastik beat Drisha Kukreja and Shanaya Thakran 6-3, 6-3 in the doubles final. The tournament ran from September 19 to 25.

Sharma had earlier won the AITA Under-12 CS-7 title in January and gold in the girls’ Under-14 category at the CBSE North Zone Tennis Championship 2026. After the tournament, she attended the New Delhi city trials for the Kia India Ballkids Programme for the Australian Open 2027.

She trains with Mahesh Kumbria and Sharath Kambadur at the School of Tennis, with additional coaching support from Manmeet Singh Marwah, Utkarsh Tiwari, Uday Saini and school coach Mohammed Ather.
