Mumbai diners can choose a Parel bar crawl on Saturday, a build-your-own wok in Khar West on Sunday, and two food programmes running across the city.
On October 3-4, Mumbai has a Parel bar crawl, Khar West wok cookout and Lower Parel breakfast; two food programmes run through October 6.
Parel’s third Bombay Bar Crawl chapter begins at 7pm on Saturday, October 3, linking PCO and Drift with cocktails, food pairings and a party bus between stops. Each venue will serve its own interpretation of Seven Islands Pure Malt Whisky.
For a slower Sunday, Sweeney in Khar West runs its Marketplace Cookout from noon to 4pm. Diners can choose a base, vegetables, protein and one of four house flavours for a Build Your Wok dish, then watch it cooked live; the bar also offers a guided make-your-own cocktail option.
At The Nutcracker in Palladium Mall, Lower Parel, Sunday breakfast runs from 9am to 11am with shakshouka, salli eggs, fresh bakes, mezze, a live cookie station, homemade cereals and a New York-style bagel station. The restaurant has also planned games and small challenges for guests.
Two citywide food programmes continue: The Bayview at Hotel Marine Plaza is serving its Amritsari Culinary Caravan until October 4, while the fourth Australian Macadamia Festival runs at participating Mumbai restaurants, cafés, bakeries and bars until October 6. Participating venues include Hakkasan, TwentySeven BakeHouse, La Panthera, Mag St. Bread Co. and SAZ American Brasserie.
