Near DHBVN Colony on Mehrauli Road, MCG began a 10-day drive on October 2 to clear 21 recurring open-dumping spots across Gurugram.
The campaign, part of Swachhata Hi Seva 2026, began at DHBVN Colony and Sarhaul. Sanitation teams are scheduled to cover Tikri and Sector 18 on October 3; Urbana Mall and Subhash Chowk on October 4; Pace City-1 and Gaushala Maidan on October 5; and Pace City and Singha Chowk on October 6.
The work will then move to Krishna Colony, areas near Megapolis Mall and Indian Gas, Ghata, Banjara Market, Sector 37, Mohammad Heri Road, Daulatabad Road, Sector 39 and Ullawas.
Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, who visited the Mehrauli Road site on Gandhi Jayanti, said households and institutions should segregate waste at source and hand it to authorised collection vehicles. MCG has asked RWAs, shopkeepers, schools and local groups to participate in keeping the cleared sites free of dumped waste.
