The Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève’s 2026 World Tour opened in Mumbai with 78 nominated watches from more than 50 brands.

The St Regis Mumbai exhibition displays 78 GPHG-nominated watches across 14 categories before winners are announced in Geneva on November 7.

Seventy-eight watches nominated for the 2026 Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève are on display at The St Regis Mumbai, bringing the awards’ World Tour to India.

Hosted in partnership with Ethos Limited, the exhibition features 78 of the 84 watches in contention across 14 categories, including the Aiguille d’Or prize. More than 50 brands are represented, with entries spanning established watchmakers, independent labels and collaborations.

The Mumbai stop coincides with Pranav Saboo, managing director and CEO of Ethos, joining the GPHG jury for 2026. The jury is led by chair Wei Koh, with half its members chosen by draw and the other half selected by the chair, GPHG president Raymond Loretan said.

Loretan said the Iconic Watch Prize can now go to an eligible watch not entered in this year’s competition, while the Special Jury Prize can recognise contributions to watchmaking beyond the formal contest.

The 2026 winners will be announced in Geneva on November 7.
