Mumbai Oktoberfest events: Chembur Mugtober Fest and Lower Parel brunch

Border Bean Barbecue in Lower Parel will host its one-day Brats, Brews Brunch from noon on October 4, pairing charcuterie and smoked meats with 2 Down Beer Co. beers on tap. Diners can choose unlimited pork or chicken menus.

Also ending on October 4 are the German-inspired menu at Someplace Else in BKC, Geoffrey’s Oktoberfest offering at Hotel Marine Plaza on Marine Drive, and Berlin Brew’s limited-edition Munich Lager in Lower Parel. Berlin Brew describes the seasonal lager as 5.5% ABV.

Le Café in Chembur begins its month-long Mugtober Fest on October 3, with dishes including schnitzel with mushroom ragu, crispy Frankfurt with beer cheese sauce and chicken frikadellen. Gourmet Village at Phoenix Palladium in Lower Parel has activities including caricature artists, beer-mug engraving and arcade games on October 3 and 4; its wider festival programme continues until October 10.

Bluebop Café in Khar has offers on selected Indian beers until October 6. Sesame at Hyatt Centric Juhu is serving German beers, Oktoberfest-themed cocktails, bratwurst and sauerkraut until October 5.
