Aircraft engines designed in Bengaluru could be machined in Hyderabad’s aerospace parks, Telangana IT and Industries Minister D. Sridhar Babu said at a Bengaluru roadshow on Friday, pitching industrial partnerships between the two states.
Sridhar Babu invited Karnataka-based companies to the Invest Telangana Global Summit 2026, scheduled at Bharat Future City in Hyderabad from December 7 to 9. He described Telangana and Karnataka as “two halves of one value chain”, saying Bengaluru’s strengths in research, design, startups and technology could connect with Telangana’s manufacturing and life-sciences capacity.
He cited vaccines developed in Bengaluru laboratories and manufactured at scale in Telangana’s Genome Valley, semiconductor designs from Karnataka incorporated into electronics made in Telangana, and cotton from Telangana processed before reaching Bengaluru garment manufacturers.
The minister also referred to Bengaluru’s aerospace and technology ecosystem, including HAL, ISRO and the National Aerospace Laboratories. Telangana is pursuing a $1 trillion economy by 2034 and plans Bharat Future City as a net-zero development with an AI City and Mobility Valley, he said.
Companies considering expansion can seek time-bound project clearances through Telangana’s TG-iPASS system, Sridhar Babu said.
