Apollo says routine consultations and tests will be available on Sundays

Apollo Hospitals has said patients can now book routine consultations, diagnostic tests and preventive health checks on Sundays as part of a seven-day service model.

The expanded offering also covers follow-up consultations and scheduled procedures. Emergency and critical-care services at Apollo have already operated round the clock; the new move extends availability for non-emergency care.

The hospital group has named the initiative “Always open, always here”. Founder-chairman Dr Prathap C. Reddy said Apollo was extending its commitment to routine and preventive care across all seven days. Executive vice-chairperson Dr Preetha Reddy said Sunday appointments could make it easier for working professionals, caregivers and families to see a doctor at a time that suits them.

For Delhi NCR patients who cannot easily take a weekday off, the change adds a weekend option for planned appointments and tests.
