Bengaluru Cantonment–Madgaon special train to run on October 1

Passengers travelling to coastal Karnataka and Goa over the October long weekend will have an additional overnight option from Bengaluru Cantonment.

Train No. 06597, the Bengaluru Cantonment–Madgaon Express Special, will leave at 11.50pm on Thursday, October 1. It is scheduled to reach Karwar at 4.50pm and Madgaon at 6.10pm on October 2.

The return service, Train No. 06598, will depart Madgaon at 8.40am on Sunday, October 4, leave Karwar at 9.32am, and arrive at Bengaluru Cantonment at 11.55pm that night.

The train will halt at Sir M Visvesvaraya Terminal, Bengaluru, Chikkabanawara, Kunigal, Hassan, Sakleshpur, Subrahmanya Road, Udupi, Kundapura, Bhatkal, Murdeshwar, Gokarna Road and Ankola, among other stations. It will have one 2-tier AC coach, three 3-tier AC coaches, 10 sleeper coaches, seven general second-class coaches and two luggage-cum-brake vans.
