Gaurav Taneja denies neglect claims over death of pet dog Mau at Delhi farmhouse

Mau, the Labrador seen in Gaurav Taneja’s family vlogs, was taken to five hospitals before his death, Taneja has said while denying allegations that the dog was neglected at his Delhi farmhouse.

The allegations were made in Instagram videos by Pushpendra Choudhary, a former employee at Rosier Farms. Choudhary said Mau had stopped eating and did not receive adequate food or timely medical care.

Taneja disputed that account in a video addressing the controversy. He said the farmhouse had a full-time cook, caretakers and a veterinary doctor who visited regularly, and said he was prepared to share doctors’ reports, hospital records, UPI payment bills, videos and photographs related to Mau’s treatment.

He also said images and clips being shared online were drawn from older farmhouse vlogs and stripped of their original context. Taneja linked the allegations to former employees and a dispute involving his company, Beast Life.

He asked people with evidence of animal cruelty to approach the authorities or courts, and tagged PETA India and Maneka Gandhi while seeking an investigation. The competing claims about Mau’s care remain unverified.
