Danish Sait brings solo show Bengaluru Boy across Bengaluru

Danish Sait’s first solo stand-up show began with time at home with his son.

The Bengaluru performer says becoming a father gave him space to reflect on nearly 20 years of work across radio, event hosting, films, social media and his Mr Nags persona. That reflection became *Bengaluru Boy*, a more personal hour in which he appears on stage as himself rather than as one of his familiar characters.

Sait says all 15 Bengaluru shows have sold out. He has planned performances in different neighbourhoods, saying he would rather bring the show closer to audiences than have someone from JP Nagar travel to central Bengaluru.

The material is rooted in his relationship with the city, he says, and is intended for people who live here, grew up here or have moved in and out of Bengaluru. Sait says he plans to take the show internationally after its Bengaluru run.
