Greater Noida West residents seek repairs on pothole-hit Bisrakh road

Residents of Sector 1, Greater Noida West, have sought repairs to pothole-damaged stretches on the main road to Bisrakh village.

The road is used daily by residents of Ace Divino and Flora Heritage housing societies, as well as people travelling to and from Bisrakh village. Sanjeev Pundir, a member of Ace Divino’s apartment owners’ association, said the potholes make walking and riding on the road difficult and unsafe.

Residents said rainwater collects in the damaged stretches, making it harder for motorists to identify the location and depth of potholes. The route is also used by office-goers and schoolchildren from nearby societies.

Pundir said he had made repeated complaints to the Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority (GNIDA) but had not seen repairs begin. Bisrakh resident Subhash Bhati also called for the work to be completed quickly for people using the route.

GNIDA officials said they would take up road-repair work soon.
