More than 30 paintings by M.F. Husain feature in Madhuri Dixit and Dr Shriram Nene’s 5,500 sq ft home at Indiabulls Blu in Worli.
The apartment, on the tower’s 53rd floor, has four bedrooms, a hall and a kitchen. Husain works line the entrance corridor, while the living area uses off-white, beige and brown tones with green accents, marble flooring and warm lighting.
Director-choreographer Farah Khan, during a visit to the home, said the collection could make “a Husain museum”.
A dining area with a marble table and teal-green chairs sits beside a bar, while the main lounge is arranged around a round wooden table. The home also has a room displaying Dixit’s awards as an actor and dancer.
In the television area, an artwork by Raghavan KK depicts the couple’s relationship. Nene described it as “our life journey.”
