AR Rahman’s Wonderment Tour reaches Delhi on November 21

AR Rahman will perform at Backyard Sports Club in Delhi on November 21, bringing his Wonderment Tour to the capital after a Mumbai date on November 1.

The concert is billed as a three-hour production drawing from the composer’s 1990s catalogue and more recent work, performed with an international ensemble.

Rahman said building a concert set list across languages is both a privilege and a difficult task. Rather than arranging songs around Hindi or Tamil alone, he said he focuses on whether the music and its live arrangement can hold an audience. “Even if they don't know Tamil or Hindi, if it's musically interesting, it engages them,” he said.

Rahman’s next film soundtrack is for *Ramayana*, made in collaboration with Hans Zimmer. The film is scheduled for release on November 5.
