Delhi launches four spiritual and heritage tourism circuits

Delhi has launched four spiritual and heritage tourism circuits linking temples, gurdwaras, churches, mosques and historic sites.

Chief Minister Rekha Gupta launched the routes at the Spiritual and Heritage Tourism Conclave-2026 at Akshardham Temple. Called Soul of Delhi, Heritage of Delhi, Delhi’s Sacred Harmony and Echoes of Delhi, the circuits combine religious landmarks with architecture, archaeology and cultural stops.

Soul of Delhi includes Gurudwara Bangla Sahib, Sacred Heart Cathedral, Agrasen Ki Baoli, Lotus Temple and Akshardham. Heritage of Delhi covers Birla Temple, Jhandewalan Mata Mandir, Jantar Mantar, Yogmaya Mandir and Jagannath Temple.

Delhi’s Sacred Harmony links Praacheen Hanuman Mandir, Digambar Jain Lal Mandir, Ambedkar Memorial, Purana Qila and Hazrat Nizamuddin. Echoes of Delhi includes Gurudwara Rakab Ganj Sahib, the Buddhist Temple, Church of Redemption, Mehrauli Archaeological Park, Chhatarpur Mandir and Linga Bhairavi Sannidhanam.

The government said it expects the routes to encourage longer visitor stays and support hotels, restaurants, guides, artists, artisans and tour operators.
