Delhi Police defers constable physical tests set for August 24 and 25
Bad weather has led Delhi Police to postpone the Physical Endurance and Measurement Test for shortlisted Constable (Executive) Recruitment 2025 candidates on the two scheduled dates.
The Delhi Police Recruitment Branch has deferred Physical Endurance and Measurement Tests planned for August 24 and 25, 2026. Fresh dates will be issued through an official notification, while the remaining stages of the recruitment process are unchanged.
Candidates due to take the Delhi Police Constable (Executive) physical test on August 24 or 25 will have to wait for a revised schedule.
The Delhi Police Recruitment Branch has postponed the Physical Endurance and Measurement Test, or PE&MT, for those two dates because of bad weather. The notice was issued by the DCP/Recruitment, Delhi Police.
The deferral applies only to the August 24 and 25 test slots. Delhi Police said the other stages of the Constable (Executive) Recruitment 2025 process remain on schedule.
The PE&MT assesses shortlisted candidates’ physical fitness, endurance and prescribed measurements under the recruitment rules. Candidates affected by the change should watch for the Recruitment Branch’s official notification announcing replacement dates.
