Delhi launches four tourism circuits linking Akshardham and Bangla Sahib

Four Delhi Tourism circuits will link landmarks including Gurudwara Bangla Sahib, Sacred Heart Cathedral, Agrasen ki Baoli, the Lotus Temple and Swaminarayan Akshardham Temple.

Chief Minister Rekha Gupta launched the spiritual and heritage circuits at Akshardham Temple on August 11. The listed stops also include the Ancient Hanuman Temple, Digambar Jain Lal Mandir, the Dr Ambedkar Memorial, Purana Qila and Hazrat Nizamuddin Dargah.

Other sites named under the initiative are Gurudwara Rakab Ganj Sahib, the Buddhist Temple, the Church of Redemption, Mehrauli Archaeological Park, Chhatarpur Temple and Linga Bhairavi Sannidhanam.

Gupta said the government wants visitors to spend more time in Delhi by combining religious sites, architecture, history, culture and food into longer itineraries.

The government has not specified route-wise schedules, transport arrangements or booking details.
