How GTK covers the news — and what we will never do

Trust in local news is earned slowly and lost instantly, so we are publishing our rules on day one.

First: attribution. When a story starts from another publication's reporting, we say so and link to them. Aggregation without credit is theft; we do fresh summaries with sources attached.

Second: human review. We use modern tools to help our small desk track hundreds of stories a day, but no story is published without a human editor reading it, checking it, and putting their name behind the decision.

Third: calm. Delhi NCR has enough sirens. If a headline makes you anxious but not better informed, it has failed. We write to be useful — what happened, why it matters, what happens next.

Fourth: corrections. When we get something wrong, we fix it visibly and quickly.

That is the deal. Hold us to it.
