Miss Universe India Kaziah Liz Mejo departs Delhi for Puerto Rico

Kaziah Liz Mejo, India’s representative at the 75th Miss Universe competition, left Indira Gandhi International Airport on November 4 for Puerto Rico.

The 19-year-old Miss Universe India 2026 winner greeted supporters who had gathered at the Delhi airport to see her off. She wore a maroon-red saree by designer Samant Chauhan, with gold threadwork, floral appliqué and sequin embellishments, along with the Miss Universe India crown.

Mejo, who is from Kerala, won the national title in August after competing with 52 finalists. She is a law student, classical dancer, public speaker and actor, and was first runner-up at Miss Teen International in 2025.

The Miss Universe India organisation said Mejo will represent India at the 75th edition of the competition in Puerto Rico.
