Namit Malhotra calls Ramayana: Part 1 his ‘heartbeat’ at Mumbai screening

Namit Malhotra took the microphone at the end of a special Mumbai screening of *Ramayana: Part 1* and called the film his “heartbeat”.

“It’s a big day,” the producer told the gathering, describing the moment of putting the project out into the world. He said the team had made it back in time to present the film to the Mumbai audience before its wider release.

Malhotra thanked the cast and crew, saying it was difficult to put into words “how much heart, hard work and genuine passion” had gone into making the film. Nitesh Tiwari directs *Ramayana: Part 1*, which Malhotra and Yash produce.

The film stars Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Rama, Sai Pallavi as Sita and Yash as Ravana. Its ensemble cast includes Ravie Dubey, Sunny Deol, Lara Dutta, Arun Govil, Vivek Oberoi and Anupam Kher. Ranbir Kapoor and Sunny Deol were among those at the Mumbai screening.
