Thane Municipal Corporation will hold its municipal-level Lokshahi Din on Monday, November 2, for residents whose complaints have remained unresolved after a Circle-level hearing.
Applications must reach the Citizens Facilitation Centre at TMC headquarters by October 19. They must be filed in duplicate with the Prapatra-1(B) form available at the centre, and must include the token number issued during the earlier Circle-level Lokshahi Din submission. TMC will not accept new applications at the November 2 forum.
The municipal-level hearing is limited to grievances that have been pending for at least one month after being taken up at the Circle level. Residents can include only one complaint in each application; forms carrying multiple grievances will be rejected.
TMC has excluded establishment matters, cases pending before courts or the Lokayukta, RTI-related requests, complaints on political-party, councillor or private-organisation letterheads, general non-personal grievances, and matters already decided finally. Residents seeking a hearing should therefore submit their earlier complaint’s token details with the required form before the October 19 deadline.
