Seventeen Irish universities brought course, scholarship and visa information to Shangri-La Eros New Delhi on Monday as Education in Ireland opened its five-city fair series.
Irish Ambassador Kevin Kelly inaugurated the Delhi event, where university representatives spoke with students interested in undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in technology, healthcare, business, finance, sustainability, arts and humanities. “Indian students have now become an indispensable part of Irish campuses,” Kelly said.
An Irish Visa Office official also held a session for students, parents and education agents on student-visa documentation, application timelines and financial planning, with time for questions from attendees.
The participating institutions included Trinity College Dublin, University College Dublin, University of Galway, University College Cork and University of Limerick, alongside Dublin City University, Maynooth University and several technological universities.
The Delhi fair is the first stop on the October tour, which is scheduled to travel next to Pune, Mumbai, Chennai and Bengaluru.
