UP International Trade Show opens in Greater Noida with 2,400 exhibitors

More than 2,400 exhibitors have set up at the fourth UP International Trade Show in Greater Noida, where over 600 foreign buyers from 90 countries are expected to meet Uttar Pradesh businesses and artisans.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah inaugurated the event with Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Friday. The two leaders travelled through the exhibition in an e-cart, stopping at stalls to view products and speak with entrepreneurs.

Yogi Adityanath said Uttar Pradesh exports goods worth more than Rs 2 lakh crore. He said about 1.5 lakh B2B visitors are expected at this year’s show, compared with 550 buyers from 72 countries last year.

Japan, Vietnam, Russia, Singapore, Austria and Belarus are participating as partner countries, with dedicated pavilions at the venue. Shah also launched the Ek Janpad Ek Vyanjan ODOC portal during the inauguration.

MSME Minister Bhupendra Chaudhary said Uttar Pradesh has more than one crore MSME units employing over three crore people. The show is intended to connect those businesses, including One District One Product enterprises, directly with international buyers.
